About the Job

We are hiring Full-time and Part-time Gas Station Attendants for our newly opened ESSO gas station in Guelph, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will assist customers with fueling, operate the POS system, sell convenience store products, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.

🎯 Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist with fueling 

  • Operate POS system and handle cash transactions 

  • Sell convenience store products, including lottery, tobacco, alcohol, snacks, and beverages 

  • Maintain cleanliness and monitor site operations 

  • Restock products and assist with promotions 

  • Recommend products to enhance customer experience 

  • Work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts 

  • Work reliably and independently 

🛠 Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills 

  • Previous gas station or convenience store experience preferred 

  • Living in or near Guelph preferred for easier commuting 

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience 

  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling 

  • Good organizational and time management skills 

  • Ability to upsell and promote products 

  • Bilingual or multilingual ability is an advantage 

  • Professional phone etiquette 

⏰ Work Hours

  • Shifts: Day, Afternoon, 8-hour rotations 

  • Work days: Monday–Friday, Weekends, Holidays as needed 

  • Flexible schedules available 

💰 Pay

$17.50 per hour
